Exploring English: Kindergarten 3 - 6

Exploring English for kindergarten consists of a tray with several activities:

• 10 theme boxes with picture cards to enhance the child’s English vocabulary. On the back of the picture cards there is a QR code. When a tablet is used, the code refers to a native English sound fragment (the name of the picture and a sentence about the picture).
• 6 illustrated cards which can be used for group activities. Children can talk in English about the seasons, their classroom and many more subjects.
• a box with inspiration cards. An Inspiration is a card the teacher can use to introduce a theme. These activities are directed by the teacher and support the teacher: how to introduce it, what to say, what the aim is and what kinds of things can be done with the children?  The card gives the objective, the words that can be offered, the chunks (word groups), a presentation and possible variations. There are also various suggestions for the children, both individually and in groups.
• a box with 20 cards which is called ‘watch and listen’. This box contains cards with QR codes that refer to song or stories in English. This will also enhance the child’s English vocabulary.
