The Fantine Montessori school in Sevrier, near Annecy (74), is looking for a French-speaking educator aged 3/6 to replace a maternity leave from March 10, 2025 to July 2, 2025 (to start).
AMI diploma and ambient experience required to care for a group of 20 children. You will work with an English-speaking assistant and collaborate with a 6-12 educator and an assistant in both classes (for meals, naps, the forest, etc.).
The school opened its doors in September 2014 with a 3-6 years atmosphere. It was expanded in 2022 with a 6-12 year-old class: today it welcomes 15 children aged 6 to 10 in a bright space overlooking the garden. The garden is the school's playground. It's close to the forest, which we visit regularly. We raise children's awareness of the importance of respecting nature. We work in a spirit of goodwill with children, parents and teaching staff alike. There's plenty of room for dialogue at our school. Missions :
- Take charge of a group of children according to the principles of Montessori pedagogy.
- Ensure the safety of the group of children entrusted to him/her.
- Organize individual monitoring of children.
- Create a climate of trust and dialogue with the parents of dependent children.
- Carry out ancillary or occasional tasks and activities, such as supplying materials (parts lists, posters, etc.).
- Help keep the environment clean and welcoming.
- Collaborate with the existing teaching team.
- Participate in educational meetings once a month.
- Organize interviews with parents.
Profile:
- Montessori AMI 3/6 training and at least one year's experience.
- Passion for the Montessori profession, joy and enthusiasm.
- Organized and clear-sighted in his work.
- Work in collaboration with an assistant.
- Ability to adapt, listen and be open-minded.
- A keen interest in nature.
Type of contract : Full-time fixed-term contract.
Salary :
