Place all the picture cards on the table. The USB key contains 6 tracks of 5 sounds each. Listen carefully to the sounds, then try to find the corresponding picture card. The song ends after a sequence of 5 sounds. Then turn the cards over to check your answer. Note that the box contains two picture cards each, so that 2 children can play simultaneously.
What's more, the game can be played competitively using the included suction cups. Specifically, children listen to the sounds and try to grab the corresponding picture cards as quickly as possible using the suction cups. The first child to grab the right card gets to keep it. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.
Per track, the sounds are based on sources recognizable to toddlers. Examples include a dog barking, a glass cup falling, a tractor, laughter and crying, a lion, a toilet flushing and a drum.
Children learn to distinguish sounds and listen to language. This stimulates their auditory discrimination, which is important for their later language development.
