Look for elements of the mission strip on the theme sheet.
For each object you find, place one of the beads on a stick. Then turn the homework strip over to see the correct answer, which is represented by both dots and number symbols. The exercise stimulates unstructured and structured counting and understanding of numbers up to 10.
For example, unstructured quantities can be found at the zoo, where animals are represented in their enclosures. Structured quantities, on the other hand, can be observed in the context of a supermarket.
The set contains 6 themed cards with different themes, including the zoo, a supermarket, around the house, at the beach, on a farm and in a vegetable garden. The exercises vary in difficulty. In other words, there are 2 cards with quantities up to and including 6, and 4 cards with quantities up to and including 10.
As well as mathematical skills, children also train their fine motor skills and language. Placing the beads on the sticks stimulates the development of their motor skills. The theme cards are recognizable to toddlers, so they can also be used as discussion topics. Try discussing what can be seen, for example, by pointing to objects or sharing stories.
